Camphor wood is a colorless wood that’s main use is in aromatic, respiratory medications. The wood comes from the Camphor Laurel tree (Cinnamomum camphora), a large evergreen tree found in East Asia. Rated as durable, with mixed resistance to various insect attacks allowing the tree to live very long lives. Some specimens in Japan, for example, are over 1,000 years old, with one famous tree at the Takeo Shrine believed to be around 3,000 years old.

This guitar was build from 370 YEARS old Japanese Camphor tree. The wood used has a natural dryness, great sustain and resonance, and was very light. The combination of great wood; Schroeder wrap around bridge; a custom wound, vintage correct, P90 pickup and great craftsman makes this guitar One of One of the kind, collector pc. and amazing sounding with the Real Vintage tone….
